I am an Italian-Senegalese
woman, born to an Italian mother
and a Senegalese father. My skin
is dark, though not as dark as my
father’s. Life presents various
challenges, including obstacles,
fast lanes, and even right of way
for different people. I aspire to
travel on parallel paths with the
world
As a Black woman growing up in
acountry that often resists change,
I frequently find myself struggling
to bring forth new ideas, plans,
andproposals for the world.
It is important to me that my message
is not perceived as intimidating,
but rather as a catalyst for actions
that bring people together.
